How to find us: If you are coming from La Villa, you will reach a roundabout at the entrance to San Cassiano. Take the second exit and follow the signs for the town centre. Although access is regulated as a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), hotel guests are always allowed to drive through. Once you reach the central square, continue towards the church and, just before the church, turn left uphill. After a few metres, you will come to a sharp right-hand bend with a sign for Hotel Diamant.
Drive through the Hotel Diamant car park and you will arrive directly at Hotel La Stüa.
The "Piz-Sorega"-lifts are at a distance of about 700m from the hotel. The slopes can be reached by an easy 10 minute walk across the village-center.
TRAVELLING BY CAR
Thanks to its favourable location, Alta Badia is easily reachable by car even in case of bad weather giving you the possibility to choose the most convenient itinerary.
The easiest and safest way to reach San Cassiano (especially in case of heavy snow and rain) is to come “from the north” getting on the state road 49 of the Puster Valley and taking exit at San Lorenzo di Sebato (next to Bruneck/Brunico) towards Alta Badia. Then continue until you arrive at La Villa, where you should turn towards San Cassiano. This route avoids mountain passes and is drivable even in adverse weather conditions.
Another option would be to come “from the west”, taking the Modena-Brenner motorway and exiting next to Bolzano towards Val Gardena. To reach Alta Badia you should cross Val Gardena and the Gardena Pass (we advise you to check the opening of the pass on the website of the Province of Bolzano or on the special banners at the exit from the motorway).
The last possibility is to come “from the south”, i.e. to take the motorway from Venice to Belluno and then continue towards Cortina d’Ampezzo. Driving over the Falzarego Pass and the Valparola Pass or the Campolongo Pass you will arrive to San Cassiano (we advise you to check the opening of the passes on the website of the Province of Bolzano or on the special banners at the exit from the motorway).
TRAVELLING BY AIRPLANE AND BUS
